It is a story of taste and successful conversion, that of Hugues Blin, the founder.
His vision: “We can all change the order of the world, in our own way.”
After years of experience in the field of energy, Hugues sought the meaning of his actions. Gourmet (and “gourmand”), always attached to Mediterranean cuisine for its taste and nutritional qualities, Hugues wanted to find a “real” flavor in Mediterranean recipes. How? Simply by favouring:
- Quality rather than quantity
- Ingredients grown on a «real» Mediterranean terroir
- Respect for the environment rather than performance
- Ancestral know-how rather than industrial manufacturing processes, which increasingly standardize tastes to the detriment of the richness of authentic flavours.

Hugues then decided to settle in Tunisia in 2010 and criss-cross each region to discover the know-how of agricultural and vegetable producers.
Hugues then worked to develop recipes and flavors typically Mediterranean, today available under the brand TYPIK. His ambition is to share with the greatest number his delicious preparations validated by his most demanding gourmets: his family and friends!
