STORY OF: TYPIK Basil Pesto

• The TYPIK Basil Pesto finds place among several colorful culinary dishes. Our gourmet invites you to try the recipe of waffles with pesto. This is a great idea for an improvised summer evening dish . For 6 people, prepare the waffle dough with 20 cl of milk, 130 gr (4,76 oz) of butter, 150 gr (5,30 oz) of flour, 3 egg whites. Add the TYPIK Pesto Basilic. Salt if desired and pepper. Place a little dough in your waffle maker and cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot with a small salad composed of oak leaves, citrus (grapefruit, oranges) thin avocado slices and some TYPIK Dried Tomatoes previously cut into small pieces.
• Our gourmet also suggests eggplants with pesto, a perfect accompaniment for your summer grills. For 4 people, select 4 small eggplants. Wash and slice them. On a plate on which you will have placed a sheet of parchment paper, place the eggplant rings by sprinkling them with olive oil and a few grains of fleur de sel. Bake for 10 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking. Brush the eggplant slices generously with Pesto Basilic TYPIK and bake for another 15 minutes. Serve hot.
