TYPIK Thyme Honey

TYPIK Thyme Honey is selected from our partner, Mohamed, producer of Cap Bon selected for its values and its commitments in the breeding of honey bees. Hives are close to thyme plantations, which are grown without pesticides or insecticides. The thyme flower is fragile and sensitive to climatic conditions, which have a direct impact on production, which remains limited. The Honey has many virtues. In the kitchen first of all, this honey raises all your meat dishes or perfectly counterbalances sweet cheeses. Regarding health, the Honey is a real benefit for the throat with a real healing power.


• Our gourmet offers you to sprinkle with a dash of TYPIK Thyme Honey a goat cheese or fig toast around a nice fresh lamb’s lettuce for a delicious sweet-salty. You can also add this same drizzle to your olive oil and balsamic vinegar vinaigrette for a slightly sweet taste with thyme flavours. Brush your grilled meats with TYPIK Thyme Honey for a more tender and slightly caramelized meat. The juice will have a slight thyme taste and will praise the fresh vegetables served as a side dish.

• Our chef invites you to make a small warm dish for an evening with friends: lamb mice confit with honey. In a frying pan, melt TYPIK Thyme Honey with olive oil. Then place the lamb mice in a pot, season with a few turns of pepper mill and salt deflector, then add the olive oil and honey mixture. Add unpeeled garlic cloves and cover the pan and bake for about 2 hours at 170°C. Serve with a small planter of crunchy vegetables.
